People love yoga because it’s great for both the mind and body. This is probably true of exercise in general, but yoga is special.
Yoga asks you to practice being grateful, and I love that.
Yoga asks that for 60 or 90 minutes in your day, you stop worrying, focus on your breath, and think about the situations and people in your life for whom you are grateful. That’s nice.
I’m always thankful for the health and happiness of family and friends. And this month, I’m extra grateful that my sweet, funny, determined, FOMO baby is eleven months old.
In a heartbeat, my little lentil sprouted into a miniature human being, complete with a sense of humor. At eleven months, she is just starting to take her first steps and will occasionally shower us with countless, spontaneous kisses. She is curious and kind and the apple of my eye. And she both knows how to elicit a laugh and thinks that I’m funny, which is The Best.
